Horseback Riding Camps

For 2024, Pony Paddock will offer a full-day (8:30am-4:30pm) camp over Spring Break (March 11-March 15) and Summer Break. There is a limit of 10 kids per week. Camp is designed to teach students what it would be like to have a horse/pony of their own. Camp is based on the United States Pony Club manuals. Children learn what horses eat, how to identify health issues, hoof care, and care of tack and equipment.

2024 Camp Dates.:
• March 11th to March 15th
• June 3rd to June 7th
• June 10th to June 14th
• June 17th to June 21st
• June 24th to June 28th

All children are expected to participate in barn chores, including cleaning stalls, feeding the horses, and cleaning tack.

Teaching aids include videos on safety, workbooks, and demonstrations, as well as hands-on practice.

This is the perfect opportunity for that “horsecrazy” child to find out what it is all about!

All campers will have a mounted lesson and unmounted lesson each day.
